Kelly Schumacher spent the 2009 WNBA season in Miami playing and training beach volleyball with some of the best players in Florida. Now she is living in California and going head to head with the best players in the world.
Kelly Schmuacher appeared in 24 playoff games and over eight seasons earned the distinction as the only player in WNBA history to win WNBA championships with representatives from the West and East. Kelly was selected by Indiana fever in the first round of the WNBA draft. She spent 5 years with Indiana, appearing in more games than any player in Fever history.
Kelly Schumacher grew up playing virtually every sport she could. In high school her favorite sports were basketball, volleyball, and soccer. She won volleyball and basketball conference championships all three years, and went on to win three volleyball regional championships as well. She won both junior and senior athlete of the year distinctions and was voted MVP in basketball, volleyball and soccer her senior year.
